Most gears will fail by the amount of worn teeth
losing the hardness, surface forming pits and hairline cracks that leads to gear and bearing failure most likely the teeth will give out chip or brake a few teeth or the gear box housing before the bearings start to wear out the bear surface causing overheating
Stage 1
Disassemble entire gear box and sand blast to remove any gear lubricant or impurities
Stage 2
inspect box gears shafts and bearings for worn areas with pits hairline cracks that can be removed
by machine grinding and polishing
Stage 3
if gear teeth is worn on one side cracked out broken or missing teeth
we start by removing any excess hardness from gears by annealing, drill and install casting pings
and weld with a series of M1 OR D2 depending on the type of gear stock
Stage 4
re-cut and re-machine gear teeth back to OEM specifications
Stage 5
heat treat gear to a 62 or 72 rock well c scale
Stage 6
replace OEN bearing & seals with new
if parts are not available or obsolete, we can manufacture new ones to OEM specifications with stronger metals stee or alloy with a .00 micro finish for a wear resistant bearing surface
Stage 7
gear box case housing is something mead of cast iron that crack e-z
our team of welding experts are experienced in weld braiding
first the crack is v out and slowly heated to 400 to 500 degrees and welded with nickel welding rod
and slowly cool down by oven control heating or welding blankets internal welds are then re-machine
Stage 8
reassemble and test for balance free movement and over heating
